TESTIMONIALS

In 2016 we worked with Colorado Kitchen & Bath on two separate remodeling jobs. Ed and Lindsey were wonderful to work with. They were knowledgeable and professional in all aspects of the job. We were involved in every detail from design to finished product. Any issues that came up, we were quickly consulted on how they would proceed.

We were extremely happy with both our kitchen countertop replacement and the full kitchen remodel at our cabin. The results at both locations are remarkable! The face that it is family owned and operated business was an extra perk. We highly recommend them for any job big or small! You will not find a more honest professional company to work with!

Thanks!

We were introduced to Colorado Kitchen & Bath several years ago when we updated our bathroom.

We were so satisfied with the quality and workmanship, that we decided when we could afford to replace the cabinets and countertop in our kitchen that Ed Brehon would be our contractor. Our house was built in 1974 and has now been updated by this master professional. He provided us with a job that we cherish. We highly recommend Colorado Kitchen & Bath to anyone wanting to modernize their home. We have everything in our kitchen that we wanted and it looks just beautiful.

Thanks Ed- Great job!

Kitchen Reface and Countertop Replacement

We love our new kitchen.  We so appreciate you listening to what we wanted and then your suggestions on what could be done.

The counter top is awesome. Most visitors feel it does look like granite. The back splash is a focal point in the kitchen.  With the under cabinet lighting,  our kitchen looks very contemporary.

Some days things changed so much, we didn’t notice until later some of the extra touches that were added. The trim on the corners of the island, the wood furnace vent and the matching corbels were nice surprises.

I have saved the best for last…The cabinets are beautiful. We love the personalized stain and style we chose. Your workmanship is definitely something you should be proud of.
We were very pleased with the project being finished within a month. We are sharing your name with others.

Thank you so much!

Our home was built in 1969 and was ready for a much needed makeover/update for the kitchen and lower floor bathroom. Since it is a log home, it comes with construction challenges. We ran into some friends one day and they told us all about their recent kitchen remodel. They couldn't say enough positive things about Ed and Colorado Kitchen & Bath. I called Colorado Kitchen & Bath on a Sunday and left a message and low and behold, Ed called back that night. He came over the next day for a look and the process began.

Deb had some ideas on what she wanted to do in the kitchen and bathroom, and Ed took those ideas and expanded on them. He worked up plans that included all of our ideas and after very little tweaking, we were ready to choose cabinet door styles, wood type and color, granite for the countertop, tile for the floors, and material for a new shower. All the pre-work was done very professionally while keeping our ideas in mind at all times. Ed stayed in contact with us throughout the planning process. He was also very good at suggestions if we were stuck on something, he did not shy away from saying if he didn't agree with an idea.

The quality of the materials that Colorado Kitchen & Bath supplied was excellent. He also has a beautiful showroom in Estes Park that allowed us to see products that we wanted to incorporate into our project.

Ed's own crew, plus electricians, plumbers, tile/floor personnel that were used were all top notch. They were always professional, courteous, on time, and did top quality work. We could not have been more pleased with the workers.

Watching the projects come to completion was both fun and amazing. Ed settles for nothing but perfection and he and his crew did wonderful detail work.

We were extremely satisfied and fortunate to have Colorado Kitchen & Bath complete our dream remodel. We would recommend Ed and his team to anyone!

First of all, we would never have been able to get started without CKB's expertise. The pre-construction attention to detail was absolutely wonderful. For example, Carol and I left your Estes Park office one Saturday morning on our way to purchase appliances, and when we arrived at the appliance sales office they had relayed dimensional information critical to the purchase of the new appliances.

I doubt if any other company would have been following the project that closely.

The Estes Park showroom also makes a great presentation, allowing us to see things in place and select from different products. Again Susan's guidance was wonderful.

Once past the pre-construction, the installation was handled in a timely manor, and the installing personal did a great job. Working in someone's home is a difficult undertaking and Colorado Kitchen & Bath handled it well.

We were so pleased with the initial kitchen project that we add the remodeling of the master bathroom.

We couldn't be happier. Thanks!

We have lived in our home for almost 26 years. it is one of the old "Eaton" homes and was built between 1905 and 1910. We have done some remodeling and are always trying to improve how the house looks, but with a house this old, sometimes it can be difficult. Last year we decided to add on a living/dining room and it turned out beautiful, but then we walked from the new room into the old kitchen, it made us realize that we needed to update the kitchen.

This had been a dream of ours for 25 years, but we didn't think it would ever be possible. Immediately we thought of Ed Brehon and Colorado Kitchen & Bath, because we have known Ed for many years and knew what kind of work he could do. We decided to check with some other places ( Home Depot, Lowes, and Alpine Cabinets) to get an idea of what other options we had. None could compare to the service and quality we saw with Colorado Kitchen & Bath.

So, we completely gutted the kitchen and Ed came in and took measurements and listened to what we had in mind. We had an idea of what we wanted, but with his experience and expertise, he helped us decide on the cabinets, countertops, and tile. We were without a kitchen for a little while, but it was well worth the wait.

We now have a beautiful kitchen, better than we ever imagined it could be! Ed Brehon and Colorado Kitchen & Bath made our dream come true and we are so grateful and blessed to have such talent, so close to home!
We LOVE our new kitchen!

Thank you Ed!

Communication:  CKB was proactive at every step.  We had daily communication with our on-site contractor who helped us with not-so little things like moving our washer and dryer back into the laundry room on multiple occasions so we could do the laundry (the entire main floor of the house had a slate floor installed and new cabinets throughout).  Ed was always a phone call away.  During the research and selection phase Ed and our interior decorator met frequently at the showroom based on our tight schedule which included evening meetings.  We never felt rushed, only supported, as Ed guided us through the many steps in a complete re-design of the main level of our home.  Our project was done in the time frame we intended and at the cost that was projected, which was a blessing since we lived in the home while it was being remodeled!

Quality of Products:  Because my Dad was a cabinet-maker I wanted higher end cabinets but not fully custom.  Ed completely understood and found us a line with solid wood drawers and doors, heavy plywood carcasses (not MDF), tongue and groove construction, full-extension drawer guides, extra-thick cabinet door inserts, and soft-close drawers and doors, all in a lovely cherry wood that just gets more beautiful over time.  We were responsible for picking out our appliances, sinks, faucets, lighting and cabinet pulls, while our countertops were selected right in Ed’s showroom.  He also completely remodeled our pantry with pull-out floor to ceiling shelving that he built in his workshop and had installed on site. The “crown jewel” of the kitchen is our custom backsplash which is a mountain scene constructed of multiple kinds of granite complete with snow-capped peaks and wildlife!  It is lit from above by under-cabinet lighting and always gets a “Wow!” from first-time guests.; The design process started with computerized drawings of the intended kitchen where Mary could specify each cabinet and drawer dimension, the size of the kitchen island etc.  Since Mary is a gourmet cook she has a defined area for her baking center complete with deep drawers for staples and a special cabinet with a pull-up base for her mixer.  Ed also sourced our slate floor and quartz countertops and hired the subcontractors for each phase of the design, which in our case involved a complete demolition of the existing kitchen, removal of a non load-bearing wall, and removal of ceilings, walls and flooring.  We did not have to do this level of remodeling, but we wanted a legacy kitchen that would transform our early 90’s home and support our lifestyle which centers around the great room of the house.  The result is more a kitchen with attached great room than the other way around!

Overall Satisfaction: We love our new kitchen, which evolved to include a remodeled powder room, laundry room and mud room with coordinated cherry wood trim and slate flooring throughout.  We spend most of our waking hours in our remodeled space which not only suits us to a “T” but is great for family gatherings and parties.  CKB shared the limelight with our interior designer and they worked together as a team.  I would recommend CKB for any home remodeling project and thank Ed Brehon for his honesty, integrity and professionalism. Thank you!

We recently decided to remodel our kitchen and were referred to Ed Brehon by a close friend of ours. After hearing many horror stories of people who remodeled their kitchens, we really had very pleasant experience. Ed spend time with us at the Estes Park showroom and explained all the options. He also took the time to come to the house with samples and we relied on his expertise in making decisions. We did a lot of demolition work, tile, plumbing, and painting ourselves, and he was always available to answer questions. The time we had our kitchen down and unavailable to use was a very short time compared to others who have had the same work completed by other businesses. We are very pleased with the experience we had with Colorado Kitchen & Bath  and would highly recommend them!

Thanks Ed!

I decided to remodel our kitchen for my wife’s birthday, after seeking out several companies for bids, I choose Colorado Kitchen and Bath to complete the work.  They returned all our calls promptly, listened to us, and had great design ideas.  I tried to find other companies who offered comprehensive services similar to Colorado Kitchen and Bath, but was unable to even get a phone call returned.  I even drove to other places yet still did not receive follow up calls or the promised estimates.  At one company, I was told they could provide me what I wanted, but I would have to order my own products and then put some of it in by myself.   This was quite the opposite when conducting business s with Colorado Kitchen and Bath.

When it came time to do the work, the staff at Colorado Kitchen and Bath, kept us informed throughout the process.  The work was completed in a professional manner, on time and without exceeding the estimates provided.  Throughout the process, I knew who would be in my home, how long they would be there and my kitchen was cleaned daily after they finished working.

I would recommend Colorado Kitchen and Bath if you are planning a remodel, in today’s world many of the remodel companies are out to sell you what they offer and not what you want or need.  Companies will not even come to your property to give you ideas unless they are guaranteed tens of thousands of dollars of work.  How often does one get the owner of the company to come to your house and actually take time to listen, offer suggestions and promise to come in on budget and then produce what was promised.  Colorado Kitchen and Bath did just that for use and the results are phenomenal!  Give them your business you will not regret it.

Sincerely,

Stephen Neuman
